A thirsty crow---search for water---sees a pitcher---water too low---sees pebbles ---drops many into the pitcher, one by one---water rises up---drink it---Moral.
Once upon a time a crow became very thirsty. He flew about in search of water. But he could not find it nearby. All of a sudden he saw a pitcher half full of water. But he could not drink it. He hit upon a nice plan. He flew to the nearest mound and returned with a small pebble in his beak. He dropped into the pot and flew back to bring another. In this way he threw a lot of pebbles into it. At last the water rose up to the brim. He drinks it to his heart’s content and flew away full of great joy.
