Dispute between the sun and the wind --- witch is the stronger --- wind blows --- traveler clasps his coat tighter --- sun shines --- traveler takes his coat off --- Conclusion.
Once a dispute arose between the sun and the wind. Each said that it was stronger than the other. They decided to try their strength upon a traveler to put off his coat.
The wind won the toss and tried first. It began to blow very furiously. But the more it did so, the more tightly did the traveler wrap up his coat around him. Then came the turn of the sun. It shone so brightly that the traveler began to perspire from top to toe. Soon he was forced to put off his coat and shirt. This practical proof of the strength of the sun was gladly acknowledged by the wind.
